April
It's that time of year again.
Or Gaypril, as it may be.
Global warming is officially a liberal conspiracy... check out this news.
Now I know you guys are here to read about me. Right? Me, me, me, me. I get like 15-20 hits/day, and you all have one common denominator, you want to hear me bitch about school. Alright then, I'll get right to it.
Well, I'm only taking 36 units this term. Math 1c practical track, phys 1c practical track, astronomy 1 and biology 1. AY1 and BI1 are intro courses and don't take an enormous amount of time. The physics labs are fun, but there are also weekly quizzes and homework sets which will come back to haunt me, I'm sure. The weekly math sets take a long, long time to complete.
I guess I can survive on less than 8 hours of sleep. Yesterday I was up really late (five or six), slept for a few hours, went to classes, had dinner, and went to ultimate frisbee practice. And here I am, not passed out. It's a good sign.
During the last few weeks, I've had some extra time. I've started taking pictures for the California Tech, and the last three issues have had pictures of mine included. w00t.
So what does this all mean?
It's getting easier to handle. I just got a bigger room, so I can be really organized (and by organized, I mean I can spread all of my stuff over a larger area). Not bad. We'll see how the rest of the time plays out, it's only been two weeks.
It's times like this I want to believe I can graduate from this "fine" institution. I'm almost 25% done already, right? Not really. If I were to do chemical engineering, I will have four years of courses left at my current pace. And the classes don't get any easier. Chemstry? Same deal.
Whatever. I got a new room, it's absolutely gargantuan. Sink, builtin closet and drawers, a bed and desk bunked, and another desk debunked. You're jealous, I know. It's larger than many juniors have. And it's all mine!
